With roots in folk, americana and blues, York-based band Mikkelsson interweave original songs with instrumental material.
Co-founder and fiddle player Holly Brandon joined multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Tom Mikkelsson in 2015 and their love of live performance has resulted in a large bank of material. Their 2017 debut EP has been regularly featured on BBC Introducing. A full album is currently in the works, which will be released later in 2019.
